WOMEN OF COLOR ARE SCARCE
every year in the MCCA General Counsel Survey.
Typically, three or fewer are newcomer
GCs at Fortune® 500 employers, resulting in
glaring disparities between these women
and their nonminority peers. Nothing indi-
cates the 5-to-1 gap in hiring, promotion
and representation will disappear soon.
However, this year’s survey reveals
that five minority women who have
never appeared in MCCA’s roster
became Fortune® 500 legal chiefs.
